At Sovereign Hospice we believe that hospice is not about dying, but rather living life to its fullest. We strive to enrich last days and improve quality of life. Our founding principle is one of veracity where no patient is left alone to die. We utilize a specialized team of professionals to care for the patient and family during their final days. Our ministry of presence ensures that no one dies alone. We guarantee that each individual will receive the care they deserve from a team of highly experienced hospice professionals utilizing a highly individualized care plan. Our team of professionals can provide all of the clinical, psych-social, spiritual, volunteer and bereavement needs.
Sovereign Hospice was founded in 2017 by a group of hospice professionals with over 15 years of hospice experience in delivering high quality hospice and palliative care services. We are licensed by the Texas Health & Human Services and certified by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid to provide hospice services all over the Dallas – Fort Worth metroplex.
We accept all major insurances to include Medicare, Medicaid, Veterans Benefits, Humana, Bluecross BlueShield, Ambetter, Superior, Aetna, United Healthcare. We will accept uninsured patients who need hospice care! We stand behind our promise that no one who needs end of life care should be left to die alone without adequate symptom management.

Our hospice ministry of presence philosophy ensures that we surround the patient and family with high frequency hospice services during end of life. In a recently published study, researchers found gaps in patient care in the last 7 days prior to death by the majority of hospice providers. Sovereign hospice has specialized service intensity add on quality programs that ensures increased presence and daily visits by multiple hospice team members round the clock during the last 7 days of the patient’s life. This arises from our strong belief in our ministry of presence to ensure that no patient or family member is left alone through the dying/grieving process. Hospice is a journey and we are here to hold your hand through every step of this journey.
